Raaft by Kinley provided their expert services in designing and supplying a brand-new roof terrace, and we were on hand to film the results.
Going into 2022, Tailor’s Corner were aspiring to ‘rebuild the past and reinvent it for today’, hence why they enlisted the professional help of Raaft to install a new, innovative rooftop terrace system. Acting as a stunning focal point for the city centre, this is a place of both business and nature, meaning Tailor’s Corner required a modern outside area to compliment the traditional exposed brick exterior of the building.
With the help of architects, GPAD London, John Davies Architecture, Palmer Landscapes and contractors, Simpson Ltd., Raaft have given a new lease of life to this building’s rooftop. Their client, Boultbee Brooks Real Estate, who possess access to the sixth-floor roof garden, were in constant communication with Raaft. To minimise hassle, they requested a single source supplier, making Raaft the perfect choice for the project.
Their expert team of designers, planners, architects and suppliers provide a service like no other, one that pays attention to every detail and even offers a consultation prior to signing up. Raaft faced several challenges throughout this project, including the time pressure element of completing the job before a crane was removed from site. With the help of our videographers at SCOPIC, we were able to show Raaft’s final work in all its stunning glory to add weight to the context of the project.
As a result, Raaft have been left with a quick, engaging video to use across their social media and website; more specifically, they have recently uploaded the video to their ‘Projects’ page, using it as part of a case study to show clients, businesses and collaborators how they don’t only overcome challenges, but they continue to innovate too.
