In September 2021, we took a trip to the prestigious stadium in London.
Named after its founder, Thomas Lord, Lord’s Cricket Ground was established in 1814 and has remained a ground-breaking stadium ever since. Recently, the grounds have undergone a refurbishment to transform the Compton and Edrich sections, which included the installation of new flooring.
This flooring was provided by Havwoods. Our team were lucky enough to visit the site after being approached by Havwoods to provide a range of case study photography. Havwoods were required to select luxury flooring for both the stands and debenture lounges, meaning we had plenty of content to capture.
Their Novaya Character Diamond flooring was used from the Venture Plank Collection, providing the grounds with a clean, rich aesthetic and warm hues. The diamond texture created a sense of depth within the walls, drawing the eye from the vibrant mustard chair details to the intricacy of the floor.
As with any project, it was crucial for our production team to capture some establishing shots. These shots were made even more poignant by the grandeur of the grounds, a place where history is brimming in the walls. The high angles give a wonderful view of the newly transformed stands while the lounge photography highlights the décor details that complement the flooring incredibly well.
